Seeing Stars

Forget flowers in your hair.

via

Rodarte put a twist on the hair clip and added some stars for some extra sparkle this season. My only question is, who is going to rip the fashion house off first? I can't wait to snag me a pair.

Not your Average Headboard

via

I really, really, REALLY love headboards. Like borderline obsessed. Especially if they are made of velvet in rich colors with lots of tufting & look super luxurious. However, I'm pretty sure I could cheat on velvet, tufted, rich colored, lucurious headboards for something like this oversized awesome painting used as a headboard instead. How pretty/creative/eclectic/cool/awesome is it?

Can you tell I'm a little obsessed?

Oscar Best Dressed List

The Top 10 Best Dressed Women at the 2012 Oscars....
According to me :)

1. Rooney Mara in Givenchy
I didn't want Rooney Mara to be my best dressed because I have to admit, I'm boycotting the American version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo because I love the Swedish version oh so much! But come on, she looks amazing. Even with those awful bangs, she can somehow make that harsh look like ethereal.

2. Mara Rudolph in Johanna Johnson
Dang Girl! Lookin' all glamorous and what not. That color and silhouette looks so pretty on her.

3. Rose Byrne in Vivienne Westwood
This dress is so sleek and modern & her haircut only adds to the perfection.

4. Emma Stone in Giambattista Valli Haute Couture
To my surprise a lot of people weren't huge fans of this look, but I thought she looks so stunning without losing her fun, quirkiness. She never disappoints me.

5.Octavia Spencer in Tadashi Shoji
If this isn't the most flattering dress ever then I don't know what is. She looks gorg.

6. Anna Faris in Diane Von Furstenburg
You can't go wrong with all over sequin, and I die for long sleeves and plunging back combinations. So sexy.

7. Esperanza Spalding in Prophetik by Jeff Garner
Love the mix of the structured corset with the loose & casual bottom. So pretty and bohemian while still keeping it glam.

8. Jessica Chastain in Alexander McQueen
Romantic and flawless. No doubt that gold touches look amazing on redheads.

9. Cameron Diaz in Gucci
Okay I admit, the color KINDA washes her out. But I am obsessed with those metallic touches and her hair looks so cute in a bob!

10. Angelina Jolie in Versace
Um... I am cringing just admitting this because I'm not an Angelina fan and her leg flaunt was sooooo ridiculous. But I do love that structured black dress.

What do ya'll think? Do you agree with me or is there anyone you felt that I left out?

Society 6 Iphone Cases

Check out these pretty little iPhone cases I'm obsessing over.

These little beauties can be found over on the Society6 website which is an online store created by Amy Sia. She also sells laptop skins & art prints which are just as awesome. If you are not following her on pinterest, you should. She has an amazing eye for prints.

Rainbow Pancakes

Is there any breakfast more fun than this?

Stumbled upon this fun recipe on no other than pinterest....just had to share it. I want to please have these as a birthday breakfast treat every year for the rest of my life. It's pretty much just created by adding food coloring to your batter, but if you are as clueless as I am when it comes to cooking, you can find the recipe HERE

Closet Heaven

Would you guys like to see closet heaven? Of course you would.

Ya, I know. You just died. And yes, it's a real closet. It belongs to the ever so famous stylist Mary Alice Stephenson, and I just want to live in there.

DIY Neon Chain Necklace

Loving neon at the moment, but fearing that it may be one of those disaster trends in the future that have you looking at pictures from the past & thinking, "What the HELL was I wearing and why would people that love me ever let me leave the house wearing that?".

That's why I'm loving neon in small doses, such as for accessories. Especially, a statement piece necklace like so:

So when I saw that The Glitter Guide posted a DIY over on their site recreating this Adia Kabur necklace (seen on Liz from Late Afternoon) I rushed over here to report it for you guys.

How amazing is it? Pricey as well. But to make one for yourself to save some pennies, all you need is some spray paint and an old cheap chain necklace like so:
