I love a great before & after shot, and I found an AMAZING one over on design sponge. This before and after was created by Alison Royer, and the thing that makes this makeover so amazing is that even though there were a few elements that went into the makeover (such as new paint, crown molding, and a few accent pieces) the biggest change they made to this room was with the CEILING. By adding rustic wood beams to the ceiling, she transformed the entire look of the room from small and boring to grand and warm. Very impressive. Amazing.
