designer spotlight: M. Elle Design

A friend of mine sent me these pictures of a mountain house decorated by the interior design trio M. Elle Design, made up of mother Mary Lynn Turner and her two daughters Marie and Emily Turner. It was love at first sight, so of course I had to share them! The team has recently made a big name for themselves, and were added to Elle Decor's top five designers to look out for.

Their taste of blending different styles with contemporary touches is remarkable. With the mix of wooden paneling, steel hardware and white comfy couches, this house is leaving me filled with envy.

so long sweet summer

today was a bittersweet day as it always is on the first day of school. having to say goodbye to the sunshine (or in my case, the SF fog) and hello to long lectures and piles of textbooks is not an easy task. but as always i move on, trying to look at the bright side that i am getting closer and closer to graduation day. but when times are rough, it always makes it a little easier to have some cute school accessories to put a smile on your face.
